RJ Scott

I write heartwarming, passionate stories about men who fight for love, even when it’s not easy. With themes of found family, trust, and second chances, every story leads to one promise—every man gets his happily ever after.
When I’m not writing, I rarely stay still for long. I’m usually chasing the next story to fall into, always reading something that hooks me and refuses to let go. I love being on the road, writing stories, and traveling with Steve—my long-suffering (and endlessly patient) husband—and Baz, our feisty little Cairn Terrier who thinks he runs everything.
I balance travel with quieter moments—watching films that stay with me long after the credits roll, and spending time with my family. I follow Formula 1 with fierce loyalty (Forza Ferrari!), drawn in by the strategy, the pressure, the split-second decisions that change everything. And when hockey is on, I’m right there, cheering on the Pittsburgh Penguins.
All of that feeds into my writing. I write MM romance across a range of subgenres—hockey, small-town, dark romantic suspense—but no matter where the story is set, it always comes back to the same things: found family, resilience, and people who have been through hell still finding a way to love and be loved.
My voice isn’t about pretty words for the sake of it. I want my writing to feel real and emotional. I write men who are broken, guarded, stubborn, or lost—and I give them someone who sees them, who stays, who refuses to let them go.
Everything I write comes back to one thing: no matter how dark it gets, love is worth fighting for.
